Full Day
6:00 AM, Hotel Pickup in Lima
Begin your adventure with pickup from your hotel in Miraflores or Barranco. Travel south along the Pan American Highway toward the desert landscapes of Ica.
10:00 AM, Visit to a Traditional Pisco Winery in Ica
Arrive in Ica and visit a traditional local winery. Learn about the production of pisco, Peru’s national spirit, from grape selection to distillation. The visit concludes with a guided tasting of selected pisco and regional wines.
12:00 PM, Lunch in Ica
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and discover some of the region’s traditional flavors. This is also a good opportunity to relax before continuing to Huacachina.
2:00 PM, Arrival at Huacachina Oasis
Continue to the famous Huacachina Oasis, surrounded by enormous golden sand dunes. Take time to explore the lagoon area, enjoy the desert scenery, and prepare for the afternoon adventure.
2:30 PM, Sandboarding Experience
Head into the dunes for an exciting sandboarding session. No previous experience is required, and basic instructions will be provided before descending the sandy slopes.
3:30 PM, Dune Buggy Adventure
Board a powerful dune buggy and ride across the vast desert surrounding Huacachina. Experience steep climbs, fast descents, and spectacular panoramic views over the dunes.
5:30 PM, Sunset Over the Huacachina Desert
Climb to a scenic viewpoint and watch the sun set across the desert. The changing colors over the dunes create one of the most memorable moments of the day.
6:30 PM, Return Journey to Lima
Depart Huacachina and begin the drive back to Lima after a full day of desert adventure and regional culture.
10:00 PM, Arrival in Lima
Arrive in Lima and transfer back to your hotel in Miraflores or Barranco.
