Lake Titicaca tour · Uros Floating Islands · Amantani overnight homestay · Taquile Island · 2-day immersion

Lake Titicaca, located at 3,812 m / 12,507 ft above sea level, is one of the most remarkable landscapes of the Peruvian Andes and one of the world’s highest navigable lakes. Surrounded by vast highland scenery and deeply rooted Andean traditions, the lake has held spiritual and cultural importance for centuries.

Our 2-Day Lake Titicaca Tour from Puno offers an immersive journey through three distinctive island communities. Begin with the Uros Floating Islands, where families continue traditional practices using totora reeds to build islands, homes, and boats.

Continue to Amantani Island for an overnight homestay with a local family and a closer look at everyday life on the lake. The following day, visit Taquile Island, renowned for its exceptional textile traditions and strong community based culture.

Combining breathtaking scenery, local hospitality, and living Andean traditions, this tour is an excellent choice for travelers seeking a deeper cultural experience beyond Peru’s most famous archaeological sites.
