Best Sacred Valley day tour from Cusco · Pisac Ruins · Pisac Market · Ollantaytambo Fortress · Buffet Lunch · Small Groups

The Sacred Valley of the Incas is one of the most remarkable destinations near Cusco, combining spectacular Andean scenery with centuries of Inca history. Once an important agricultural, cultural, and spiritual centre of the Inca Empire, the valley remains home to impressive archaeological sites and traditional communities.

This full day Sacred Valley tour explores two of its most fascinating destinations. Discover the hillside ruins and colourful artisan market of Pisac, then continue to Ollantaytambo, a remarkably preserved Inca town surrounded by imposing terraces, temples, and mountain landscapes.

Located at approximately 2,800 metres (9,186 feet) above sea level, much of the Sacred Valley sits lower than Cusco. This makes the valley a popular addition to the first days of a Peru itinerary, allowing travellers to explore the Andes before continuing towards Machu Picchu and other high altitude destinations.
